Lunch at Menya Japanese: Gyu tandon - Ox Tongue with Red Wine Sauce ($12) & Chicken Katsu Curry ($9.80) |
One of the must try food in Melbourne is the ox tongue at Menya. They opened up a new branch on Elizabeth St, we dined in the original shop at Melbourne Central. Apparently the shop is operated by Chinese chefs & waitresses (I expected Japanese?!), who cares as long as the food is awesome!
Heading to Docklands for the Harbour Town and didn't find anything. Perhaps not in the right mood for clothes shopping. Ohhhh check out this little funky pink poodle!
What do you think? Should I buy??? Just kidding! |

Dinner was well spent at Via Fratelli with a cousin who I have not met for a long time. Apparently Fratelli in Italian means brothers and Via means way so it is interpreted as Brother's Way. The restaurant was opened in 2011 by 2 Italian brothers. I only managed to take the picture of my own meal as we were too busy eating and talking.
